Award Winning Airport Lounges, for Everyone

Here at No1 Lounges we believe in the importance of giving back to the community and supporting causes that help make a difference in people’s lives. Last year on World Mental health Day, we sent out a survey to all our employees and asked them what charity they believe we should fundraise for in 2023. We are proud to announce that we have chosen Mind, the UK’s leading mental health charity as our charity of the year for 2023.  
Mental health is a crucial issue that affects millions of people every year. There are many people in the UK struggling with feelings of isolation, anxiety, and depression, and they need our support. That’s where Mind comes in, they provide information, advice, and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem, and they also campaign to improve services, promote understand and raise awareness. 
No1 pledge to raise £10,000 for Mind throughout various events and activities throughout the year. We are committed to raising as much money and awareness as possible. We hope that you will join us on this journey and help us reach our goal. 
<h3>No1 Lounges Fundraising events  </h3>
Our first fundraising event of the year took place in January 2023, with teams of No1’ers taking part in sponsored Winter Walks. We have teams based in Birmingham, London Gatwick, London Heathrow and central London, so it only felt right to hold 4 sponsored walks across 4 locations so everyone could get involved. The walks ranged from 5k-17k, and the teams raised a total of £900 to kick off our pledge!  
The next fundraising event will be held in May to honour Mental Health Awareness Month. We know how much people enjoy baking (and eating) cakes, so we have planned a bake sale at each location, staff will bring in their best bakes and we will be running a competition, offering a prize to No1 Lounges star bakers.  
Keep your eyes peeled for more fundraising events this year from No1 Lounges, we are on a mission to raise as donations as possible for Mind.
